What is All the Cares in the World?
All the Cares in the World is a multi-platform creative project by Cindi Maciolek — a memoir, a tribute album, related books and journals, merchandise, and a one-woman show — all telling the story of nearly seven years spent caring for her mother Mary in Las Vegas, where Mary lived until her death at one hundred years old.
Which came first — the show, the album, or the book?
The show came first. Cindi began developing the script for the one-woman show. The album grew from a song she wrote one night trying to capture the whole experience in a few verses. The memoir came next— because a book can reach people who will never see the show or hear the album.
Can I experience each one separately?
Absolutely. The memoir, the album, and the show are all designed to stand completely on their own. You don’t need to have read the book to enjoy the album, or seen the show to appreciate the memoir. And, they can all be experienced together as the material from one project supports and expands the others.
